Join AdvanceCT’s next Partners Meeting to hear from State Treasurer Erick Russell on key state initiatives and the CT Department of Administrative Services on Connecticut’s new CT Gateway platform for small businesses.

– Erick Russell, Connecticut’s 84th State Treasurer, will provide an overview of his role in managing over $50 billion in pension assets, overseeing state debt and cash management, and administering the Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET). He will also discuss the CT Baby Bonds program, a groundbreaking initiative to combat generational poverty.

– Meg Yetishefsky and Shelli Orosz from the CT Department of Administrative Services will review how small businesses in your community can potentially tap into state business opportunities. Last year the state spent over $1.1B on 1,522 contracts used for purchasing products and services for CT agencies. Meg and Shelli will review how to get certified and participate in the Small and Minority Business Enterprise certification program.
