On Sunday, May 19th at 12 PM, AARP Connecticut, the Connecticut Masters’ Games, and the Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce will be providing a FREE seminar on the profound impact smart technology has on the lives of EVERYONE. Specifically targeting individuals with disabilities or those are aging. Mainstream technologies can be used to dramatically increase one’s independence and success in their quest to live at home as long as possible. The NEAT center at Oak Hill will demonstrate for the audience, the unique approaches to placement of smart technology throughout one’s house in order to empower people to live their best life. You are able to see the technology in action in the New England Assistive Technology Center at Oak Hill’s fully equipped, Smart Home on Wheels mobile demonstration center. The tips and tools presented by Nicole Feeney through the Living an Empowered Life through Smart Tech Seminar will provide you with the necessary information and assistance needed in order to allow you to live your life full of innovation and efficiency.
