The Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce and the Hospital of Central Connecticut are pleased to present another in The Chamber series of webinars designed to bring you current information that will help you and your business. Join us at 8:00am on November 20, 2020 at as we welcome Jess Collins, Regional Director of Behavioral Health at Hartford HealthCare as she leads a discussion on Wellness During A Pandemic. Ms. Collin’s presentation will focus on: • How the human body responds to stress during a pandemic • The impact of the pandemic on ourselves, staff and loved ones • How do we maintain our lives and cope • Covid and the Holidays • Supporting Staff Jessica Collins is a Board Certified Registered Nurse with a Masters in Community Counseling. She has earned her BSN from Chamberlain University and her MA from the University of Saint Josephs. She is currently the Director of Behavioral Health Services for The Hospital of Central CT and MidState Medical Center, overseeing a 32-bed inpatient unit, 2 psychiatric emergency rooms, and 2 large adult outpatient clinics for behavioral health and substance abuse. Jessica has worked to develop programs around Employee and Patient Wellness as well as community Opioid Abuse support, such as the HOPE program in the Central Region cities and towns. She has presented both locally and nationally in regard to Opioid Community Collaboration, Behavioral Health and Employee Wellness.
